There is always something going on in the Wildwoods. There are events for everyone in the family such as the Boardwalk Classic Show, Monster Trucks, Motor cross racing and the Powerboat racing. The International Kite festival, Fabulous 50's Weekend, the Craft Shows and who can forget the Irish Festival. During the vacation season there is a fireworks display on the beach every Friday night.  9/1   9/1    Sunrise On Sunday Veteran Flag Service 
A weekly ceremony every Sunday morning to raise the casket flag of a Veteran to honor and remember ALL Veterans, held at the Lou Booth Amphitheater at 2nd and Ocean Avenues in North Wildwood. Arrive 10 minutes before sunrise to participate in a 20-minute tribute and inspirational message at the most beautiful vista on the Jersey Shore. This location offers photo ops galore! The Flag Raising Ceremony is weather permitting as Veteran Casket Flags are not for all-weather. The Downtown Wildwood Farmer's Market will take place every Saturday from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.,starting on Memorial Day weekend rain or shine (no Market on Sept. 7th).  9/12   9/14    New Jersey State Firemen's Convention and Parade 
Annual Convention of the New Jersey State Firemen and Life Members at the Wildwoods Convention Center featuring meetings, seminars and business sessions. Firetrucks from around the state will be displayed in the Wildwoods Convention Center parking lots and merchandise vendors can be found across the street at Fox Park. The American Red Cross will host a Blood Drive on Friday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. inside the Convention Center - all are welcome. A special fireworks display will take place Friday night at 9 p.m. on the beach at Pine Avenue and a Firemen's Parade will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. along New Jersey Avenue, from Cresse Avenue in Wildwood Crest, proceeding north to 20th Avenue in North Wildwood. 856.433.0386 or

This fireworks show has been canceled due to storm conditions. No rescheduled date.Launching from the beach at Pine Avenue in Wildwood at 9 p.m. but visible from almost anywhere on the Wildwoods Boardwalk! This special fireworks display will light up the sky one more time for the season, while the NJ State Firemen's Convention is here! Festival will be held in the North Wildwood Entertainment District, along Olde New Jersey Avenue, featuring live country music, merchandise vendors selling everything country, dancing, crafts and food.  9/19   9/22    Boardwalk Classic Car Show 
Take a step back in time! The Fall Boardwalk Classic Car Show takes place every September on the world-famous Wildwoods Boardwalk featuring cars of all makes and models 25 years and older. Hundreds of vehicles will line the boardwalk on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The Top 40 cars will be displayed in the turn-around circle in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday from 4-5 p.m. and an awards ceremony will take place on Sunday from 9-10:30 a.m. inside the Wildwoods Convention Center.  9/19   9/22    Irish Fall Festival 
The largest Irish Festival on the East Coast celebrating Irish heritage with dancing, music, food and craft vendors. Held along Olde New Jersey Avenue and surrounding pubs in North Wildwood from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Bus service is available throughout the event dates. Other festivities include a golf tournament, Irish dance lessons, 5K run and 1 mile walk, pipe exhibition, food court stage and beer garden, and Catholic Mass. Join us for Oktoberfest, that ancient German tradition of merriment, roller coasters, tilt-a-whirls, beer, pretzels and bratwurst! Mariner’s Pier will be open for Oktoberfest from 5:00pm to 11:00pm on Friday, from noon to 11:00pm on Saturday, and from noon to 5:00pm on Sunday. Jumbo’s restaurant will feature a special themed selection of Bavarian pretzels, bratwurst, German potato salad, schnitzel and more. On tap, guests will find a wide selection of beers and tasting flights to be enjoyed at an outdoor “biergarten” located behind Jumbo’s with live entertainment. The Fall Food Truck and Music Festival returns to Fox Park - across from the Wildwoods Convention Center - from 11 a.m.until 4 p.m. featuring delicious and unique food trucks, fantastic music, quality vendors, and amazing entertainment that will transform this oceanside park into a fun filled day for the whole family! Enjoy delectable delights from over a dozen food trucks including famous roast pork, gourmet egg rolls and wraps, seafood platters, blooming onions, gourmet ice creams and gelato, and much more! Musical line-up to follow. Vendors will be selling quality items from jewelry, clothing and accessories to local honey. There will also be Fall decorations for sale including pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, bales of hay and everything in between.  9/28   9/29    North American Sea Glass Festival 
Returning festival will feature a variety of sea glass artisans and authors from around the country, magnificent sea glass collections from all over the world, the highly anticipated Shard of the Year contest, and presentations by marble and bottle experts, as well as lectures on sea glass sourcing, and beachcombing in Puerto Rico, post-Hurricane Maria. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with Shard Identification experts about their own beachcombing finds. Merchandise vendors will include handcrafted jewelry, unique home decor pieces, ornaments, gel candles, mosaics and much more!
